Previous Daily Devotional About dealing with our aloneness… Matthew 28:20 And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (NIV) Matthew 9:36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. (NIV) We are the multitudes. Please hear our cry. We beg and plead with our eyes but no one can see us. Our heart breaks but no one hears the sound. Our loneliness has killed us but no one mourns our passing. Our life is trash and we are waiting to be hauled away to the trash heap. Our anger burns but no one comes to put out the fire. We have given up. We want to go back to a time we had before when we had not given up. We are young but our soul is one hundred years old. We are old and we see how time has passed us by…even when our age is twenty. We need help but no one knows what to do. We are the multitudes. Please hear our cry. If you are one of the multitudes, you are never alone in your life. You are never alone in your life even when you absolutely believe no one is with you. You are never alone in your life because God did not make you to be alone. God did not make you to cry from the pain of being alone. God did not make your heart to be broken. God made you to be whole and unbroken. God made you to be a vessel into which He pours His presence. In God's presence this instant, He knows you and He knows your every need. If you will put your life fully into His hands, He will fully mold you and shape you into His image of love. If you will put yourself into His hands, your anger will vanish and in place of your anger will be understanding and wisdom. If you will put yourself into His hands, you will not give up but you will find hope, opportunity, and promise that leads to eternity. In His hands, you are young again and you shall remain young again forever. In His hands, your life is made new each day. |
