Previous Daily Devotional About
crying out to God… 1 Chronicles There are times when we must all cry out to God. There are times when we need to seek God’s attention to free us from pain or seek His attention to pour His blessings over us. Every day we must look up to God rather than looking down at ourselves or looking down at the sin of our world. When we look up to God we should seek His blessings, for His blessings are uncountable and they are waiting for us this very moment. Jabez cried out from deep within his heart and God heard Jabez’s cry. If we cry out from deep within our heart, God will also hear our cry. In the span of eternity, from the very beginning to the very end of all things, God does grant our requests. Our request may not be granted like we want in the form or shape we want. Our request may not be granted in the time frame we want. However, God loves us and He is faithful to us. God will never turn us away but will always listen and do for us what He deems good in His love and kindness. When you cry out to God you must cry out seeking the mighty hand of God to be with you, not against you. From God we seek and rightfully expect to get His power because our God is a mighty fortress. When we cry out to God, we must seek God’s showers of blessings, because in His clouds of joy there are blessings of living water ready to pour down upon us. How willing are you to do this kind of heart seeking? How bad and how far are you willing to go in crying out from your heart in faith?
