Previous Daily Devotional About daily worship in peace… Deut. 6:13 Fear the Lord your God, serve him only and take your oaths in his name. (NIV) A time of daily worship in peace can put a stop to the madness of your world, at least put a stop to the madness for a brief time. When you come to God in peace or when you come to God in war your time of worship shows God you love Him and adore Him. Daily worship in peace with God gives you a time to place your burdens into His hands. Setting aside a time for daily worship in peace gives you a time to reflect upon God's power and how He has been with you through your many trials. Daily worship in peace also gives you a time to surrender up your burdens to Christ who will always sit with you and be with you to help you. When you take time for daily worship in peace with God, you turn away from the world and turning away from the world is one of God's most favorite things for you to do. As you worship daily in peace you are then able to open your heart up to our Lord and in your state of openness you permit His love to flow into your soul. Can you take a little time each day for God, for prayer, for meditation, for
reflection, and for giving thanks?
