About desire to grow…
Zephaniah 1:12 And it shall come to pass
at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that
are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good,
neither will he do evil. 13 Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and
their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them;
and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof. (KJV)
What do you really desire?
What do you really want? How much do you really desire? How much do you really
want? You can possess a lukewarm "sorta," "kinda," desire to
live a godly life and achieve what God wants for you. Or, you can possess a
burning desire to live for Christ and live to achieve His goals and plans for
you. If you only have a lukewarm desire to live for Christ and achieve for Him,
then it is doubtful you will reach God's mountaintop. If you live each day with
a fire in your heart to be Christ's humble child then you will soar with His
spiritual eagles. Nothing happens for Christ or in life without desire. No
achievement of merit happens without a passion to achieve. No victory for Christ
is ever won without a burning desire to serve Him.
