About doing God’s word through righteousness….

Hebrews 2:11 Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers. 12 He says, "I will declare your name to my brothers; in the presence of the congregation I will sing your praises." (NIV)
If you do the word of God by living a holy and righteous life, there are benefits. If you do the word of God by loving the Lord and loving others before yourself, showers of blessings will fall upon your life. It should not be a great mystery God works in people’s lives. Although God is unseen, He directs things in ways we do not know. Unseen and often unknown to us, God opens doors and paves the way for us to do great things for Him. When we do His word or do His will, He brings calm in storms of our life. He may be unseen to us. He may be hidden from our eyes. His ways may be mysterious. However, when we live according to His ways and His truth, there are blessings poured out upon us. We may have hardships not of our own making. We may have tragedy we did not deserve. We may have conditions over which we have limited control. However, God loves us with the deepest love that could ever be, and if we live for Him and do all we can in His name, our blessings will flow. If your present hours are dark and full of woe, in your future there will be a bright and shining moment turning every moment into a bright and shining eternity. Someday, every moment of your sacrifice in love and faith will come full circle and He will wrap His arms around you and say, “Welcome home, good and faithful servant.”
