About doing the will of the Father…

"Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. Father, glorify your name!" Then a voice came from heaven, "I have glorified it, and will glorify it again." † "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done." An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. † And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross! † The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life--only to take it up again. † For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. † Jesus commanded Peter, "Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?" † The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him." † And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." † "Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him and he will bring justice to the nations. †
