About the endless circle of God's promises…

1 Thesalonians 5:24 The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it. (NIV)

In God we can trust. In God we can hope. In God we can put our faith. In God we can believe. If there was ever a test of our life, God gives us the test of believing in Him. Sometimes we see an earthly result of our faith and belief. Other times, we will only see a result of our faith when we see Jesus face to face. In all trials, God makes us promises God will keep. In His promises, we can place our hope. In His promises, we can place all of our trust.

Some of His promises from His holy Word…

From six calamities he will rescue you; in seven no harm will befall you. -- You will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by. -- For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock. -- For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. -- Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. -- As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; -- My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life. -- Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me.

Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. -- and provide for those who grieve in Zion--  to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise  instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. -- In all their distress he too was distressed, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and mercy he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. -- "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.  -- And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. -- Therefore, brothers, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith. -- Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope.
