Galatians 1:3 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ…(NIV)

How we find peace in times of personal war and in times when we are under personal attack is sometimes a mystery. Regardless of its mystery, we can all find peace with God. God has given you His peace and you have His peace already, even when you do not know it. The great gift of peace from God will often lie dormant within us and will sometimes lie undiscovered. However, the peace of God is always available to us in every circumstance. The peace of God prevails over every disturbance and prevails over every battle. What a wonderful gift we have been given. What a wonderful gift God has given us to give to others. When we realize the power of God's peace, His peace becomes not just an abstract idea. When we realize the power of God's peace, we have His peace. His peace comes to us when we give all our cares and worries to Him. For if we go to the cross of Calvary with our many burdens and torments, we are soon struck with the fact that our burdens and torments are gone in the shadow of Christ's suffering. The peace of God overpowers all the times we are under attack as we come to understand how much He loves us and cares for us. When we understand how much God truly loves us and cares for us, our times of personal battle and the circumstances of our personal war melt away…and His peace prevails.
