About expecting the best…

Matthew 15:28 Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

It is better to expect the best than the worst because if we expect the worst, more often than not, we get the worst. The way our reality is constructed, Satan is always pulling us down toward the worst. We must never go Satan's way. We must never go down toward Satan by expecting the worst. We must fight against expecting the worst by exerting maximum self-control and self-discipline in our thinking and in our behavior. It often takes maximum effort on our part to climb above the satanic influences of the worst. However, all of us can expect the best. For example, when we expect to be healed, we have absolutely nothing to lose. Every day we can expect the best and we can keep on expecting the best until we reach the best called Heaven. Great faith expects the best because without any faith the worst can happen to us individually and personally. However, expecting the best in love gets results. Expecting the best in love generates spiritual power and from spiritual power comes miracles. Patience in expecting the best is mandatory because expecting the best in love gets results over the years, decades, and centuries. Expecting the best in love gets the results God wants. When we expect the best in love our expectations must be held for the glory of God and for unselfish godly reasons.
