About finding blessings…

Psalm 3:8 From the Lord comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people. Selah (NIV)

Psalm 3:8 Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. (KJV)

You and others need the blessings of God. To bless the life of others, look deep into their heart and soul. Think first about what others need. In putting others first in this way, you will be more able to bring others the blessings of God. Others may be skeptical when you bring them blessings. Others may even doubt when you bring them blessings. However, even when people are skeptical and people doubt when you bring them the power and love of Christ, the power and love of Christ will also blossom in your own life. Others may not consciously know about the blessings you bring them. Perhaps they will never consciously know about the blessings you bring them. However, others knowing about the blessings you bring them should never be the point. In bringing others blessings, it is better to be totally anonymous because the blessings you bring into a person's life can be more fully received when you are out of the picture. Sometimes, it is better to help a person find a blessing on his or her own. Helping a person find a blessing on his or her own empowers a person and can enable the person to more fully look upward to Christ in a spirit full of thanksgiving and praise. Others will always find a blessing in your meekness and humility. Others will always find a blessing in your showing Christ's love. What you bring to others, God will bring to you.
