When you place your whole heart, soul, and mind in the Lord’s hands, then God gives you a confidence that overcomes the fear. This does not mean your fear goes away but it does mean you can act regardless of the fear. Courage is acting or being able to act in spite of our fear. When the Lord is with you then you have a supernatural ability to face fears, doubts, anxieties, and insecurities that stop you from acting. God’s supernatural power temporarily pushes these dark forces aside and then you can act even when you are afraid. When you act, even when you are afraid, then you have courage.
