finding the power to change… Mark 5:15 When they came to Jesus, they
saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there,
dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid. (NIV) Mark 5:15 And they come to Jesus, and
see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and
clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. (KJV) We all say we want to change. We may fully understand how we must change when change is needed. We may even want to change with all we have within us. However, we all live with an inertia keeping us from changing. The truth is, most of the time, we do not want to change. We do not want to change because we are afraid of change. Change represents an uncertainty and insecurity about the future we do not easily handle. You can find the power to change if you can help others change. When you see the light of Christ you also come to understand how change in your life or in the life of others does not need to be so fearsome. If you help others find the power to change then God will also bless you and help you change. Everyone has the power to change if they let Christ lead them in doing His will to make changes. In Christ, with Him alive within you, you can readily see you have all the power you need to change by having Him come into your heart and life. Christ is the original change agent. Christ is in the business of transforming your life and transforming the life of others. With Christ, every second can be a wonderful new second you can use to walk in a new direction with Him guiding you and directing you every step of the way.
