A Daily Devotional About the finite and infinite… Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you, saying, `Destroy him!' (NIV) In our physical world, we can measure everything. We can measure the size and weight of the Earth. We can measure the energy in an electron. Everything in our material world has a definite dimension. However, in the spiritual realms of heaven, everything is infinite. God is infinite. God cannot be measured, sized, or gauged. God is love and His love is infinite. When you think no one can touch the broken part of your life, your infinite God with His infinite love can melt away your every hurt. In your life, your infinite God can destroy obstacles and vaporize barriers no one else can touch. All things are possible with God because God is infinite love. With God, there is no end and no beginning to His love. When His infinite love touches the finite parts of your life, with all your pain, suffering, and difficulties, then something is going to give…and the give is always your pain, suffering, and difficulties.
