About fitting into God's plan…
Matthew 2:19 After Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in
Egypt 20 and said, "Get up, take the child and his mother and go to the land of
Israel, for those who were trying to take the child's life are dead." 21 So he got
up, took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel. 22 But when he heard
that Archelaus was reigning in Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go
there. Having been warned in a dream, he withdrew to the district of Galilee, 23 and he
went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was said through the
prophets: "He will be called a Nazarene."(NIV)
Everything will work according to God's plan if we are willing to fit into the plan and
work the plan. We need guidance to know about the details of what we should do, so we must
pray. Sometimes we should wait, sometimes we should act immediately. Sometimes we are left
to make judgements and decisions on our own. Of course, we all would like an angel to give
us directions, but we can glorify God by trying to do our very best to do His very best,
even if we make a mistake. Even when things do not work out as planned according to our
planning, God is faithful, loving, and just. God will see to it that no matter what
obstacles you face, you will receive His help and His guidance.
