Getting depressed or sick has many causes. Some of the causes of depression and sickness are not always under our control. One of the causes of getting depressed and sick is living in weakness because we leave God out of our life. However, we can control how close we are to God. We can control how much of a spiritual person we become. When we are depressed or sick, no matter the cause, we need power, especially the power of God. Depression and sickness are from the darkness. When we are under attack and feel depressed or sick, we must come against this darkness and fight back. Putting your physical life, emotional life, and spiritual life in order is a way to fight back against depression and sickness. By keeping the parts of your life in order, you give God a chance to do His will within you, even in times of depression and sickness. When we put God at the center of our life and we do all we can to live with Him, we strengthen our life. With God at the center of our life, we are able to come against every weakness and every attack of depression and sickness. In wellness or in sickness, all of us need to pray, think, meditate, and rest in the love of God.
