Previous Daily Devotional About God as a giving God… John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (NIV) God is a giving God. God gave each of a physical life. God gave us the universe. He gave us laws to preserve our life and preserve our world. God also gave each of us a chance at eternal life. God gave us His Son. To believe in Christ means we must totally invest our whole heart and life in Him. When we have made this total investment in Jesus, we are also surrendering our whole life to Him. When investing money in a business venture an investor surrenders up money. In Christ, we must surrender up our life as we invest in Him. Without investing in Him, and without surrendering up to Him, there is no way we can have eternal life. |
