About God being with us during good times and bad…

Matthew 12:20 A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he leads justice to victory. (NIV)
When we are bruised and in pain God will not take advantage of us. Instead, when we are hurting and broken, God will be with us and He will comfort us. When we do not know where else to turn, God will be there with us calling us to turn to Him. Although we do not deserve His help, He will help us. Although we do not deserve His healing, He will heal us. Although we may not know it, the Lord has been with us all the days of our life. In our good times when we felt full of power and we thought we were untouchable because of our ego, God was with us. In our bad times of grief, loss, and mourning, God was with us. In our weakness when we felt helpless, hopeless, and alone, God was with us. God is with us because He loves us. God is with us because He cares more for us than we could ever know. In your heart right now, right where you are, God is with you and He will never leave you.
