About God’s continual calling…

1 Samuel 3:6 Again the Lord called, "Samuel!" And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, "Here I am; you called me." "My son," Eli said, "I did not call; go back and lie down." 7 Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him. 8 The Lord called Samuel a third time, and Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, "Here I am; you called me." Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy. So Eli told Samuel, "Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, 'Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.' " So Samuel went and lay down in his place. 10 The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, "Samuel! Samuel!" Then Samuel said, "Speak, for your servant is listening." (NIV)

In your life there is a continual calling from God. The voice of God calls out to you every second you are alive.

God calls you to forgive others and forgive yourself.

God calls you to love Him and love others.

God calls out to you to be kind, caring, and compassionate.

God calls out to you to look upon the beauty of His earth.

God calls out to you to let your heart be lifted up in thanksgiving and praise.

God calls out to you to use 110 per cent of all He has given you for His glory.

God calls out to you to show others how much He loves them.

God calls out to you to be holy, righteous, and devout.

God calls out to you to let His beauty and splendor within you shine out to the world.

God calls out to you to think on Him, believe on Him, and trust in Him.

God calls out to you to be His humble child.

God calls out to you to only walk His path.

God calls out to you to resist temptation.

God calls out to you to fight the good fight of faith in Christ Jesus.
