God’s eternal healing power… Hebrews 12:12 Therefore, strengthen your
feeble arms and weak knees. 13 "Make level paths for your feet," so
that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed. (NIV) In our feeble minds and in our feeble thoughts we cannot easily grasp or wrap our minds around an idea like eternity. Our life is grounded to our present pain-filled reality. In our afflictions the idea of eternity can be beyond our mental grasp. In our afflictions, it may seem like we are weak and alone but we are not weak nor are we alone in this life. We are also not without help or support. There is always hope no matter what happens to us. There is always hope for us because God is now seeking us out. God is seeking us out to bring us home to be healed. In God’s eyes, it is not enough for God to give us some kind of temporary fix for our present problems and afflictions. In God’s way of thinking, it is not enough for God to just give us a prescription to make us feel better. For God, the only remedy for us is a total, complete, and eternal healing. Although God may give us a miracle healing in this life for the afflictions that plague us, the greatest healing will be the eternal and everlasting healing we receive when we see Him face to face. Praise God for His eternal and everlasting healing power! Praise God for His love that will most assuredly heal us totally and eternally from all the aches, pains, ills, and afflictions we suffer in the here and now!
