Previous Daily Devotional About God’s faith system… Romans 5:2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. (NIV) You can read these words on your computer monitor or on paper. There should be no doubt your monitor or the piece of paper on which the words appear is real. However, what about Christ? Is Christ just as real as the tangible items filling up our life? We cannot easily prove the existence of Christ’s reality like we can prove the existence of a computer monitor or a piece of paper. In order to prove the existence of a tangible object we usually get testimonies from others about what they see or experience in regard to the object. If you see or experience a tangible object but no one else sees or experiences the tangible object, the object is only real to you. However, just because we cannot easily prove an idea or thought is true does not mean the idea or thought is not true. Many people do not believe in Christ because believing in Christ requires they take in the testimony of others about Him. With Christ, we have a supernatural being with whom we can have contact on His terms. In God’s faith system, we must establish and maintain contact with Christ only on His terms, not our own. God has put in place His system of faith so only those willing to trust and believe in Him on His terms have access to Him. Those persons who do not trust and believe in Him on His terms do not have access to Him. In God’s faith system, only those who trust and believe have the benefits of faith while those who doubt must live with the often terrible consequences of their doubt. God’s faith system works for you because God loves you.
