God's insulation to protect your hope and faith… Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill
you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with
hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (NIV) Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill
you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the
power of the Holy Ghost. (KJV) How
could anyone still hope after seeing the most terrible side of human beings? How
could anyone still believe in God when they have lost all the people and
material things in their life? How
could anyone still keep going after all they had worked for came apart with no
hope of ever putting things back together again? Persons
who experience devastation can and do have hope because God gives them
insulation to keep their hope alive. God keeps the part of them possessing hope
in tact. God keeps the part of them desiring to live in tact. They still believe
in God because God protects that part of them so they can believe. They keep
going because God protects the part of them that motivates, that inspires, and
that pushes onward so they will come back from the devastation of defeat. If
you experience devastation and you do not believe in God or you lose your faith
in God, then you are on your own to find your own hope without God. Without God,
you are on your own to find a reason to believe. Without God, you are on your
own to find a way to keep going day after day. However, if you have lost faith
or hope in God you can regain your faith and hope. God is a loving God and He
will always welcome you back into His loving arms so you can believe, so you can
trust, and so you can hope once again. In your life, if you choose to believe, trust, and hope, God provides you with the insulation to keep your hope alive, to keep your faith alive, and to keep you going…if you are willing to overflow with hope from His Holy Spirit.
