Previous Daily Devotional About God's love for you... "For God so loved the world..."John 3:16 When Jesus tells us that God loved the world, Jesus did not mean that God loved only the trees, birds, mountains, and seas. What Jesus is saying is that God loves you. God does see all of your goodness, your flaws, your potential, and every blemish. Even when you rebel, stop caring, or forget about God, God still loves you. When you make mistakes and falter, God's love falls down from heaven upon you no matter who you are or no matter what you've done. When you openly reject God and all He is, God still loves you beyond measure. In God's eyes, although you might make mistakes and reject Him, in His eyes you are worth more than all the gold, silver, and things precious in the universe. Today, ask yourself this question. Should the love God has for me be returned to Him by my loving Him back? |
