About God's love during times of worry…

Luke 12:24 Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! 25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? (NIV)

God's love can see what our worry tries to cancel out. God's love makes visible what our worry tries to make invisible. God's love drills down to find water when our worry only contemplates the consequences of dying of thirst. God's love activates while our worry tries to inactivate. God's love warms and thaws out what our worry freezes. God's love heals while our worry wounds us. God's love casts aside all thoughts of doom while our worry welcomes in the doom. God's love sends us into the outer reaches while our worry keeps us from even thinking about leaving. If we are to let God's love cancel out worry we must not love that which conjures up our dark imaginings. If we are to let God's love cancel out worry we must put all of our life, including our worries, into the Master's hands. In the Master's hands, our worries are molded and shaped into His great works. In the Master's hands we have no worries, because in the Master's hands our worries are replaced by His calm assurance and by His overflowing love.
