God’s power waves saying “No!”… 1
John We do what we know we should not do. We go in directions we know are wrong. We know we are making mistakes before we make them, but we make mistakes anyway. The history of our human race is littered with the debris of the mistakes we have made. In every life, in your life and in my life, we can look back and see mistakes we made with the full knowledge we were making the mistake at the time we made it. From God we can and often do receive waves of power telling us “No!” However, in our tragic way of living, even when we receive His waves of power telling us not to do or not to be what He does not want us to do or be, we still go ahead and make our mistakes. Tuning in to God’s power waves telling us “No!” may be painful for us. Tuning in to God’s power waves telling us “No!” may turn us inside out with guilt, with remorse, and with a burning conscience we often try to cover up in very destructive ways. However, what we must remember about God is this…He loves us. If God tells us “No!”, He is doing so for our eternal benefit and for His eternal glory. A “No!” from God can be a dramatic and positive turning point in our life…a turning point giving us the power waves of God saying “Yes!”
