God’s revelation of the spiritually obvious… Luke
24:45 Then he opened their minds
so they could understand the Scriptures. When
we ask Christ into our life He does amazing things. One of the amazing things
God does for us is reveal the spiritually obvious. The wisdom of God is not
always obvious because the wisdom of God is fully dependent upon our opening our
heart and mind to His love. When we say we want to believe but we still do not
believe, the Lord’s wisdom remains hidden or away from us. When we only
believe a part of His holy Word, His wisdom only comes to us in bits and pieces.
However, when we fully open our heart and life to Christ’s love then His
amazing wisdom comes to us when we read His holy Word. We can read the same
words in the Bible one hundred times but all of a sudden, with Him at work,
those same words come alive in us in new ways that should have been obvious to
us all along. When
darkness comes into your life and you need answers, open your heart to God. When
you have lost hope, look to God, for God is the ultimate and eternal supplier of
hope. When you are lost and need guidance, open your heart and listen to God
speak to you through His word. When you open your heart and believe, you will
see and understand what is now obvious but was hidden in the past.
