1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." (NIV)

When God looks at you what does He see? What God sees is the truth. God sees you as an incredible creation who can change the world. God sees you as an intelligent being with unlimited potential to make the world a better place. One might think all God sees is the sin. It is true God sees the sin but God also sees the more important part of you…the important part of you that Christ died to save. When you die, it is your unblemished soul that sails toward your home in Heaven. When God looks at you He sees the power and potential of your unblemished soul. When God looks at you, He also sees all the pain, the hurt, the disappointment, and the yearnings. When God sees you, He sees you with kindness, tenderness, and love in His eyes. We keep no secrets from God. We may live in denial about who and what we are, but we keep no secrets from God. To God, it is no secret you are His child…His child sometimes doing wayward things and sometimes doing His will. But God does not just stand back and look at you. God lives within you and works within you to bring you peace, love, strength, and His love without limits.
