About God's will for us…
Philippians 1: 7 It is right for me to feel this way
about all of you, since I have you in my heart; for whether I am in chains or defending
and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God's grace with me. 8 God can testify how
I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus. (NIV)
At the heart of our essential loneliness in life lies the
truth that we are born into the world as an individual separate from all other
individuals. We live as an individual, and we will die as an individual. However, in our
individuality, in our singleness, God is always with us. In our loneliness, God is always
carrying us in the palm of His hand. In our loneliness, God is always trying to lead us
even when we do not want to be led. In our loneliness, God is always speaking to us. In
our loneliness, God is always there for us. In our loneliness, God loves us
unconditionally. For God does not want us to be lonely. God's will is for us to never be
lonely by walking with Him and walking in His ways at all times. God's will for us is that
we should always know He loves us.
