Previous Daily Devotional About having no fear… Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: There is a great deal of fear in the world. There is war, rumors of war, disease, famine, plague, economic collapse, and the list seems to grow day by day. For many people, the greatest fear is the fear of death. Death is the common denominator of all people, all races, and all cultures. The shadow of death hangs over every life. In addition, evil lurks around every turn in the path of life. The realities of death and evil bring fear into our life. However, with God the father, with Jesus Christ the Son, and with the Holy Spirit, we do not need to be afraid. No matter what life brings us, no matter what kinds of trouble and problems we face today, the power of God is within us. If we want, the full power of God will overshadow death and evil in our lives. When we have Christ as a real force of love in our heart, we are not afraid because His love drives out fear.
