About having peace in disappointment…

John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (NIV)

Peace within your heart is possible with Christ. As Jesus said, in this world you have trouble. Sometimes you have mountains of trouble and do not know where to turn. When you move through your life and encounter mountains of trouble you can look to Christ for help and comfort. If you are willing, you can have a heart filled with the peace of Christ in any circumstance. If God wills for you to reach for the stars you should reach up. Even if you never touch the stars, you will still have His peace within you because you did His will. If you live in God's will, even in disappointment, you will have the peace of Christ within you. If you never touch the stars, you can still have the peace of knowing you did what God wanted you to do.
