Previous Daily Devotional About
health, vigor, happiness, and peace… 2 Tim. 1:10 But is now made manifest by
the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath
brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (NIV) There
may come a time in your life when you get tired as you come to face the end of
your life. At these moments, these moments of facing the end of your life, you
can feel at peace. People who work in hospices know about how people who are
dying can find peace in the end. If you have suffered too much in your life,
immortality in the human body or in the human form is not so attractive.
However, if you are young, the idea of physical immortality can sound very
attractive. Who would not want to be physically young and healthy forever? Who
would not want to be full of vim and vigor forever? Well, everyone wants to be
physically young forever. If we could all be physically young, healthy, and happy forever, we would
all want to be physically young,
healthy, and happy forever. In Christ and because of Him, death is no more.
Because of Christ we can have a great and grand life full of health, vigor,
happiness, and peace forever. This great life is the life in our future. Because
we know we have this great life waiting for us, we are full of hope for tomorrow
and we are willing to give our all to serve Christ who has brought us from death
to life. |
