Tuesday's Daily Devotional This Devotional Is Part Of A Special Continuing Series Related To Dependency And Co-dependency Issues. Rules Of Godly Common Sense Apply. About helping other people live their life instead of fully living your own... 2 Chronicles 7:14 …if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (NIV) It is in God's will for each of us to help others. However, it is not in God's will for each of us to help others live their life if we do so out of our weakness. In addition, it is not in God's will for us to diminish our life because we are not strong enough to fully live our life. If you diminish your life because you feel weak and powerless, the weakening of your life in this instance will never glorify God. Humility before God can only be fully achieved if we are strong enough to humble ourselves. Helping other people live their life because you are too weak to fully live your own life does not glorify God. What all of us must do is strive to be strong for our Lord. What we must do is live in the strength God gives us. Prayer
