(NIV) He has always been with you. Even when you thought you were alone, He was right beside you. When you thought about death and dying, He is with you encouraging you to think about life and living. When you have been aimless and without meaning and purpose, He guided you to do His will and to be more productive. When you were full of anger and hate, He was with you telling you to pursue the giving of love. When you were thinking of yourself and you were in great emotional pain, He was with you giving you comfort while encouraging you give rather than take. When you were irritated and upset, He was with you telling you to be kind instead of mean-spirited. When you wanted to be critical of others, He was with you and asked you to give others your support in silence rather than giving them your criticism. When you felt listless and unmotivated, He was with you and asked you to get up and get moving regardless of how you felt. When you were full of doubt, He was with you and asked you to believe and trust in His love. He is with you now, touching your heart, touching your soul, touching your mind, because right now, this instant, He loves you in boundless ways.
