About His presence… (Part 3 of 5)
Psalm
31:20 In the shelter of your presence you hide them
from the intrigues of men; in your dwelling you keep them safe from accusing
tongues. (NIV)
He has always been with you. When you
were in the deepest despair, He was with you giving you hope and a vision of the
future. When you were terrified of being poor when your money had run out, He
was with you begging you to find Him by immersing yourself in His spiritual
abundance. When you were in the process of making mistakes because of your
foolishness, He was with you asking you to always follow the wisdom of His truth
and His word. When you were doubled over in the pain of your affliction, He was
with you giving you His comfort, caring, and compassion. When all of your energy
had run out and you were exhausted, He was with you as He pulled you up and told
you to keep going. When you saw injustice and the other voice told you to look
the other way, He was with you and called your heart to controlled anger over
the injustice. When you had no answers, He was with you pouring His wisdom and
truth into your heart to always seek, ask, and knock. He has always been within
you, beside you, above you, beneath you, and all around you because He loves you
beyond all measure and beyond your ability to fully know.
