About the honesty of surrendered spirit…

Matthew 18:3 And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (NIV)

John 8:31 "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (NIV)

When you are trying to make decisions, it is a time to remember to surrender your will and life to God. When you surrender to Him, God will show you the truth about your life. When you surrender to Him, God will give you an honest spirit so that you have His wisdom to make right decisions. When you want to tell yourself things that are not true, surrender to Him and Christ will turn your mind to His truth and His wisdom. In surrender, you can tell the truth from a lie. When you fear the truth and fear the pain the truth may bring to you, God will show you that even with the pain of the truth, you can find freedom. When you have surrendered your all to Him, God will work in you and He will help you accept the truth under any circumstances. Christ will give you courage to live in truth. He will help you to see His hand in all things that are in your daily walk. When you surrender, and when you are tempted to lie, He will, with great love, ping your conscience and sting your heart so you will tell yourself the truth. When you must face the truth that sets you free, surrender to Him and you will find His freedom. When you must face the truth that sets you free, Christ will show you His truth in surrendered love.
