Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. How troubled we are as we walk through life! If you are a concerned person and you have children then your children cause you to worry and fret. If you are a normal person then at some point you are worried or troubled. You worry and are agitated about your health, your weather, your job, your spouse, your car, your finances, your job or career, your home or apartment, your church, or you name it and you got it, we are all troubled at times. However, even if you are a person of vigilance and you are a warrior of the faith even you need not be troubled. You need not be overly concerned about your future if you let the love of Christ fill you and overflow within you. However, you can have the peace of Christ within you not by taking a pill or pill-like idea and swallowing it. You can have His peace by letting go and letting Him take your burdens from you. For Christ will give you His peace if you will give Him your troubled heart. |
