God could have created you to be a totally faithless being. The only problem with God creating totally faithless humans is that humans would not have survived. As a race of intelligent beings, without the capacity for faith, we would have to spend all of our time and intellectual power continually checking and verifying everything in our existence. Instead of being incapable of faith, God gave you the ability to hold and treasure within your being the idea of Him. God gave you the ability to hold within your mind the idea of other unseen things. God took a big chance by giving you the ability to have faith. God took a big chance in giving you the capacity for faith because you have the choice of believing in Him or not believing in Him. God took this chance in you, and God took this risk in you, so you could use His gift of faith to glorify Him. Remarkably, God expressed His love for you by giving you the ability to believe in Him and love Him even when you are a fallen sinner. God went even further by sending His Son to die for you, again hoping you would use your capability of faith to accept Christ as your Savior. The lowest point of your life is when you fail to use your capability of faith given to you by God. At this lowest point of your life, you no longer believe He is real. The highest point of your life is when you use your capability of faith given to you by God for His glory.
