1 Corinthians 13:8 …but where there are prophecies, they will cease; (NIV)

Prophecies cease because within love prophecies become unimportant and meaningless. We do not need prophecies when we are enraptured and enfolded in the love and will of God. Prophecies are not needed when love has conquered all that is. Prophecies are of no value when love reigns supreme upon the reality of our lives. Prophecies will cease because we will all know the future is full of bright and shining stars with rainbows of promise. Prophecies will cease when love reigns because our beloved Savior will reign over all evil. When love reigns, all pain and suffering will be gone.
