Previous Daily Devotional About how time is on our side Psalm 25:4 Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; 5 guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. 6 Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. 7 Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O LORD. (NIV) The clock does not stop. The great wheel of life keeps turning no matter what happens. No matter how much we want to make things stop to get off the merry-go-round, the ride keeps turning. There are some things in life we can control and some things we cannot. Each of us gets closer to the grave every second and we cannot control this. As the clock moves forward, you can pray and make that wonderful spiritual connection to our Lord no matter whether the times are good times or bad ones. We are all placed on the merry-go-round of life without our consent. We can ride with hearts full of hope and promise, for every day holds the promise of Christ's return and His promise to meet us in His heavenly home. He will meet us with open arms and with a mansion ready just for us. For those of us who know Christ, time is always on our side. |
