About how we have a fuller life because of Christ…

Colossians 2:9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority. (NIV)

Faith in God can sometimes be like grasping a wisp of air because faith in God concerns itself with what is unseen. Jesus came to earth to change our faith from grasping a wisp of air to a belief in the real and living God…a real and living God who walked the earth in human form. Christ came to earth so God could be seen with human eyes and be heard with human ears. When Jesus was born, Jesus knew His destination was the pain, suffering, and horror of the cross. Because Christ suffered and died for us, our earthly life is fuller, has more meaning, and has more purpose if we accept Him as our Savior and Lord. Before Christ, the world was steeped in darkness with little hope. Before we accept Christ, our personal life is steeped in darkness and we are empty. After we accept Christ, our personal life takes on fullness and meaning not found in any way other than by accepting Him into our life and heart.

On the most personal level, your life is not your life when you accept Christ. When you accept Christ, your goals, purposes, desires, and wants are not yours. When you need leadership, guidance, and wisdom, always look to Christ for He is the power and the authority from whom all your blessings flow.
