Previous Daily Devotional About how we have all things in Christ… Romans 8:32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? (NIV) In our financial poverty we can think and feel poor. However, we see and observe many things in this earthly life only in part. Our earthly life has both a spiritual component and a physical component. We live both in the tangible world as well as in the intangible spiritual world. How can God supposedly give us all things when we are in financial poverty and when we may stay in financial poverty the rest of our life? The answer is…God cannot only give us all things but God can give us an infinite amount of all things. God can give us an infinite amount of all things because at some point in our life, we will cast off our earthly body for a new body residing in heaven. No one can imagine the greatness and grandeur of our heavenly home. No one can imagine how much of the "all things" we will receive in Heaven. If you accept Christ into your heart and life as Savior, Christ's sacrifice on the cross enables you to have a new set of eyes, a new set of ears, and a new heart. With these new eyes, new ears, and new heart you can begin to understand how you will see all things, how you will hear all things, and how you will be immersed in love as you live in your new mansion in the sky…a new mansion full of all kinds of new things.
