About how you are forgiven…
Isaiah 38:17 Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish. In
your love you kept me from the pit of destruction; you have put all my sins
behind your back. (NIV)
Someone you may not know is willing to totally forgive you of all the
mistakes and wrongs you have ever committed in your life. If you want to be
forgiven, this very instant, your life can be transformed into a life without
any spot or blemish. Even if you have done things, said things, or thought
things for which you cannot forgive yourself, someone you may not know is
willing to totally forgive you forever. Even when you carry a burden upon your
back that breaks you down from what you have done, there is someone who is
willing to lift every burden from your heart no matter how heavy the weight. If
there is anything in your life you must believe with certainty, then believe
with certainty someone is willing to forgive you of all your debts, all your
sins, all your wrongs, and all your mistakes. So complete is the forgiveness
waiting for you that when you accept this forgiveness, it is as if whatever it
was you have said, thought, or done has been erased from the face of the earth.
And who is it who pours out all this healing stream of forgiveness? If you want
Him too, you are forgiven by God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy
Spirit who surrounds you, uplifts you, and walks with you every second.
