how you are healed…
Psalm
103:2 Praise the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—3 who forgives all your sins and heals all your
diseases, 4 who
redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, 5
who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed
like the eagle's. (NIV)
As
you read these words, you may be wounded in body beyond the repair of modern
medicine. As you read these words, modern medicine may give you only a few hours
or a few days to live. As you read these words, your heart, your soul, and your
spirit may be broken so completely you think there is no possible way your life
can ever be put back together again. However, this very instant someone you may
not know is pouring down upon you a healing stream of love. This very instant,
no matter who you are or where you are, a healing stream of love covers you and
soaks you through to the very center of your being. This very instant you are
healed. Your body may remain broken. Your physical pain may remain with you.
Your physical limitations and infirmities may last the rest of your life, but
you are still healed in a wonderful stream of light and love. Your healing is
not just a temporary healing that lasts a few hours, days, months, or years.
Your healing, the healing that comes from the power of light and love, is from a
person who loves you, forgives you, and embraces you. Your healing that lasts
for eternity is from God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit
who surrounds you, uplifts you, and walks with you every second.
