Previous Daily Devotional About how you see others… Luke 6:35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. (NIV) All of us are guilty of not seeing others as they truly are. All of us are guilty of being blind to the beauty of the human soul. All people are guilty of making judgments based upon what is on the outside rather than what is on the inside. Not only are we blind to the beauty of the soul of others, we are also blind to the beauty of our own soul. Because we are blind, we hurt each other. Because we are blind we wage war against each other. If we could all see how loved and precious we are in the sight of God, we would all change and them our world would change in an instant. Of course, there are truly despicable people in the world. They are not despicable because of their appearance. They are despicable because of the corruption of their soul. Most tragic of all, the corruption of every soul is correctable by turning away from sin…kneeling at the foot Christ's cross in humble contrition…and accepting Christ as Lord and Savior. When you see others, Christ wants you to see them as He sees them.
