You would do these things because sending up your love up to God changes the fabric of humanity and the world, most often in unseen ways. Sending your love for God, up to God, changes all those around you. Sending your love for God, up to God, changes you as you become more like the person He wants you to be. There is a reason why we want to send our love up to God. We want to send our love up to God because He sent His son into the world for us. We want to send our love up to God because God sent Christ into the world to rescue us from the darkness wanting to defeat us. We want to send our love for God, up to God, because He first loved us.
