About including God for just a minute…

2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you. (NIV)

When life gets impossibly difficult and the future does not look good, include God for just a minute. Of course, it is easy to say we must include God for just a minute. Words are easy to say and easy to read. But when the chaos and strife of your life begin to eat away at your heart, include God for just a minute. When you lose the will to live or you lose the will to move forward, include God for just a minute in as many minutes as you can. You do not need to try to include God for a whole day, but instead include God in your life just one minute at a time. Then when you include God in your minutes, one minute after another, soon the minutes with God begin to add up into hours. Soon you begin to see Him in all the times of your life, especially in the times when circumstances look difficult or impossible. It is God’s utmost desire for you to include Him in your life this minute, no matter what this minute is like. When you are depressed, angry, sad, disillusioned, grieving, joyful, tempted, estranged, or in any other state of mind and heart, include God for just a minute. When you include God for just a minute, that minute is a little window into the infinite love God has for you. When you include God for just a minute, that minute becomes the door through which Christ will walk to sit down next to you so He can give you peace, joy, comfort, and the incredible power of His uplifting love.
