About increasing love…

Acts 3:19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, (NIV)

We are saved when we turn away from going against Christ's will and accept Christ as Lord of our life. The only way we can increase love and have love overflow to others around us is to be broken into pieces at the foot of His cross. Then, when we are destroyed because we went against Him, He will restore us and make us a whole new person as we kneel before Him. Christ's act of making us a new person increases love in our life. Christ increases love in our life by increasing the love we feel for Him, increasing the love we feel for others, and increasing the love we experience from Him.
