God is not just a big power cloud out in the galaxy. He is not some far off remote figure looking at us on a TV screen. God is fully interactive in our lives. God continually speaks to us and watches over us. God wants to give us wisdom, guidance, and advice. Our difficulty is that we must listen, and after we listen we must hear, and after we hear we must follow His teachings. What we must remember more than anything else in beginning this whole process is that He loves us. He loves us so much He sacrificed His only Son for us. Once we begin to fully accept His love for us then we begin to listen, to hear, and to follow. |
