Previous Daily Devotional About knowing you are forgiven… Luke 6:37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. (NIV) You are forgiven when you forgive. When you forgive, all your sins are erased. When you forgive, all your dark thoughts are no more. When you forgive, all your times of anger, frustration, and desire to lash out are totally gone. When you forgive, in the heart of God there is no record of any of your wrongs. To understand what it means for you to be totally forgiven, imagine what it would be like to start over with no haunting past, no haunting mistakes, no haunting memories, and no haunting sins of any kind. Imagine what it would be like to totally start over fresh and new in your life. When you forgive, all these things to be imagined become real in real time and in real space. When you forgive you really are starting over with no haunting past, no haunting mistakes, no haunting memories, and no haunting sins of any kind. So profound is God's forgiving love, we are totally overwhelmed and we kneel down in thanksgiving when we fully understand how much we are forgiven in His love and grace.
