Previous Daily Devotional About lack of faith… Romans 3:3 What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness? 4 Not at all! (NIV) Our lack of faith does not determine whether God loves us. God will always be loving, kind, and caring whether we are faithful or not. God's love is unconditional which means God loves us no matter what we do or how little faith we have. In other words, God always loves us even when we do not love Him. God's redeeming power and love is exemplified by Christ's going to the cross for each of us. In addition, Christ's love for us will remain the same for eternity. Our lack of faith does not diminish the power of God in Heaven. However, our lack of faith does diminish and does damage the influence of God through us as we interact with and touch the lives of others here on earth. What is most important for us to remember is how our having faith dramatically touches, in supernatural ways, the lives of literally millions of others all over the world. Our willingness to humbly pray for others blesses others and helps the power and love of God flow into the lives of those we pray for each day. Our not having faith does not diminish God's power in Heaven. However, having faith opens the door of our heart and opens the door in the heart of others here on earth. When the door of the heart of others is opened as a result of our faithfulness, the power of God can flow into the person's life and miracles happen. You can, in a supernatural way, touch the heart and life of every person on earth by having and using your faith. |
