Previous Daily Devotional About letting doubts melt away… Matthew 21:21 Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. (NIV) All of us have doubts from time to time. We must all recognize doubts are like walls keeping us from the Savior. If you question the authority of the scriptures, you build a wall. If you think the scripture is just a story but not a fact, you build a wall. If you think Christ was only a man, you build a wall. If you are afraid to believe, you build a wall. If you are afraid to trust Him, you build a wall. If the scripture, for you, is anything but a love letter from God sent just for you, you build a wall. It is normal and human to do things that build walls between us and the Lord. However, let a tiny bit of His light into the darkness of your doubt and the walls come tumbling down. The supernatural power of God can erase the walls in an instant when you are willing to believe Christ really was the Son of God and really did die for you. Let a tiny sparkle of Christ's light into your heart and watch the walls of doubt melt away.
